Today I had new tires put on my car.
As I was driving home one of the wheels FELL OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING.
I proceeded to drive it metal to ground into a parking lot to avoid busy after-school traffic. Then I freaked the &%$# out because MY TIRE FELL OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING.
I will be one angry mama bear if I have to pay for the damage done to the bottom of my vehicle. I guess next time I'll make sure the mechanic BOLTED MY TIRE ON.

Oh my goodness! I am glad you were okay. I can't believe that happened. It will make for a good story someday...and I'm sure you will laugh about it in the future.
Btw, This story made me think of a story your dad told us once. Didn't he have something similar happen to him? (I'm pretty sure it was your dad.) I just remember him saying that he was yelling, "Front tire!" Bill and I always laugh about that story.
OMG are you freaking kidding me? I would be livid!
Side note, I actually saw this happen once when I was living in TX. The guy was making a left-hand turn onto the street I was on and it happened right in front of me while I sat at the red light.
I know it's not funny now, but you WILL eventually laugh about it, I promise!

Seriously though, that's riiidiculous. That mechanic owes you for sure.
Oh my gosh!!! I hope you talked to the company who put them on and they fix your car!! Ridiculous.
Gracious!! I sure am glad you're ok!! And hopefully the car is easily repairable. We've had our share of car frustrations, lately (although the tires have all stayed put, thank God), so I can relate--to an extent!!
