Pumpkin Muffin?

I'm back. Sorry about that.

From now on there will be knitted blankets and hot mugs of coffee or tea - whichever you fancy. Seeing how I've become quite the muffin baker, I could throw a few pumpkin chocolate chip in for good measure.

(Or was coffee enough?)

The harsh Wisconsin winter is practically at our doorstep, so we prepare for long days spent inside.

This winter I want to tell stories with my photographs. I want to learn how to create images indoors that don't make me cringe. This guy blows my mind with his work. Raw, real, honest, beautiful. There's meaning behind each frame and I must learn.

I want to remember the stories.

I went to "that guy"s blog (holy smokes) and then to the blog of Jodi, the mama in the family he photographed. I don't think she and the daddy are married (on her blog she refers to him as her "partner") but I read her birthing story about the baby, Poet. Wow. She's a yoga instructor for pregnant women, and into natural birthing, but it sounded positively blissful. I sure hope when I birth children it's that nice! :)

It's good to see you back here. Missed you. :)
